My New Blog

Well, nothing new to report here.  The "snowbirds" have gone home, still a little early for the summer vacationers.  We locals have all of Venice to ourselves.  No waiting for a table at the local restaurants, no problem getting tickets to the theater, no traffic, no hurry, no worries!

The "Season" closed out with good numbers compared to the rest of the USA.  We still have some buyers looking to scoop up some of the bargain properties.  And let me tell you folks, if you couldn't afford Venice a couple of years ago, you should come take a second look!

I look for the market to stay consistent through the summer.  If the weather continues to be as nice this summer as last, I look for prices to rise next season.  Some of the sellers have already said as much, as they are letting their listings expire to be put back on next year.

I am writing this from my backyard patio, there is a nice breeze off of the gulf, the birds are singing and the sun is shining bright.  If you have any questions please send me an email or give me a call.
