Hello there again,

hope your summer is as nice as ours so far this year.  Actually, I am seeing more and more of our snowbird friends around town lately, some even say they came back to escape the heat!  Imagine that, coming to Florida to cool down, that's a twist.  I want to make mention of a fact I saw in the High School Newsletter, Venice High School is rated among Newsweek's top 5% of the nation's high schools based on it's Equity in Excellence ratio for Advanced Placement offerings, Kudos!

I am often asked about our school system and I only have good things to say.  Having a high school student myself, I am quite familiar with Elementary thru High School.  We have had good experiences throughout.  The kids are back to school Monday the 18th, I can't believe the summer has gone so fast.
